I like dotuptime.com better it’s free too but checks every 20 minutes instead.
I use http://www.serviceuptime.com. Seems like a lil bit more stable and no false alerts. SMS alerts are godsend also.
I’ve actually been giving dotuptime.com a try as per Mark’s suggestion. They do check every 20 minutes, offer a really configurable list of emails to notify when outages happen. So far, happy with it.
I use http://www.jaguard.net – it free checks every 10 min. They monitor both secure and non-secure services providing our customers with interactive charts and weekly/ monthly reports.
