A Little Bit About Us
Welcome to Danga.com. We’re a group of programmers, sysadmins, and designers developing and running community-centric online services. While our company office is based in Portland, Oregon, we have employees throughout the United States.
We’re responsible for the popular website LiveJournal.com which features online journalling (“blogging”), forums, social networking, and news/content aggregation for several million users.
And check out the presentation given at OSCON about the Open Source backend system used in the LiveJournal.com site. Pretty neat stuff. Ahh, to have to scale to 50 million requests per day. Now that’s a problem you want to have! 🙂
